Good thing G Mac listens to the recruiting experts

and got those big 4 and 5 star players like Haluska and Peterson, heck il even through in Thompson. God knows walkons will never see the floor at Hilton. Peterson was player of game in a close call over Haluska, Rashon and Jiri. If he doesnt nail those 2 threes at the beginning of 2nd half i dont think ISU wins.

What an idiotic post. We beat Nebraska at home and you act like its some great accomplishment to rub in peoples faces? Peterson and Haluska will not lead us to real success which is measured by a little more than a home game against Nebraska. Last time I checked we are 1-8 on the road this year and will most likely finish with a losing record. If this is your idea of success you would fit in better in Iowa City.

Thank God they're leading us to the postseason this year.

Is it too late to call for a revote on the All-Century team?

Does nobody remember that we have only two players on this team that were here two years ago? I can't believe all the fools who are jumping ship so quickly; on the team and McDermott. Who in their right minds would expect us to be competing for the Big XII title with all the recent player turnover, etc?

All this, and after we got a WIN.

Settle down, have patience. Every coach deserves at least 5 years before they can be thoroughly judged.

Re: Good thing G Mac listens to the recruiting experts

Enough praise was given to Taylor last year for leading the team to a big win over Minnesota. Give the walkons some props. They work hard, go to class, and don't fill the headlines with a bunch of negative publicity. Don't expect to win any conference championships with them, but they weren't promised anything when they came to ISU and still wanted to help us out. I'll give them bigger props than players who exited the program for petty indifferences, leaving us in a bad way. They deserve more than slaps in the face with negative posts on CF.

    i totally agree singsing

i think its incredible that 4 walkons played a major role in leading the team to a awesome 2nd half comeback. Think were this team would be without Thompson, Peterson, and Haluska. Just the better competition in practice im sure is well worth having them here. You also make a good point about Taylor, look at the hysterical worship of him last yr and how many NCAA tourney games did ISU win last yr with him around?

Re: Good thing G Mac listens to the recruiting experts

Those guys play with a lot of heart and effort despite not being as talented. Wish some of our more talented guys would follow their lead. How can you knock their efforts? They weren't even supposed to be playing the roles they are now when they were recruited so I can't see how you can knock them for that.

You're ridiculous. Good thing we don't have more talented players. We might actually be talking about playing postseason games if that were the case.

There are some idiots on this board. Do some of you clowns realize that when Mac was hired he lost almost his entire team. I think fans need to be patient of the process. Guess what it may be another year before the process is complete. Most programs take 3 to 4 years to get going. Jeez!
