    Dead Last

Hard to believe, but our defense slipped further. We are now dead last in every major stat category in the Big 12. Rushing Defense, Pass Efficiency Defense, Total Defense, Scoring Defense.

Next two weeks we get Adrian Peterson #1 all purpose yards, and Texas Tech, #1 passing offense.

    Should be fun.

One good point...we are no longer dead last in the nation in pass defense.

The stats don't show it, but I thought the defense might have matured a little in the second half last night - I think they have gotten a lot better. With Banks among the linebackers, seems to be more speed - now have a third linebacker to fly around like the other two. Thought the new safety put some hits on people.

Don't read too much into last night's second half performance. It was obvious that Callahan had started playing keep away (aka McCarney Ball), and they could have turned it back on if they had to. They had a 2 TD lead and were just running the clock.

    New Slogan for the shirts:

"Dead Last only in your dreams, Sooner fans! Go Clones."

New Defense shirts: "Don't blame us. It is offensive."
