Who needs to shine against TX for a win?

We have the usual suspects...Wes, Juri, CB, Clark.

But often times in an upset of a team of lofty ranking and talent...someone...seemingly out of nowhere goes off. I'm talking about a player who might avg 4ppg...but goes off for 22.

Or can our big guns have big days....and that will be enough.

    Thoughts?

Or maybe the crowd needs to go off?

I'm looking for big things out of a little marksman by the name of......BROCK JACOBSON!!!

Actually I'm going to go with Diante since their guards are so tough. Ditto on the crowd...lets put them on our back today people!

Im just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard, Eustachy joked. If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, hell be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.

My thoughts exactly. I know it is a cliche but, in order for us to win, everyone is going to have to bring their A game and we will have to have a big game out of someone.

Hopefully Augustine will slip on the ice.

DJ Abrams has been throwing in EVERYTHING lately. If you dont like watching other teams drain threes... dont watch today.

I still think we can win today.

Re: Who needs to shine against TX for a win?

cam lee on defense against those guards and good help d when they penetrate, good rotation on d.

cb on offense, he needs to finish down low and have a 25pt+ day. as always when going for an upset like this though, the 3's gotta go in!

anyone else wanna make this one of the loudest games ever...i'm in!

cam lee,if he gets to play early. He should be getting more playing time than he gets now. And craig brackins need to play great defense and especially shoot the ball well

It is time for a Sean Haluska coming out party. I mean basketball-wise.
His brother came out after his Freshman year.
Its time for him to go off.

Re: Who needs to shine against TX for a win?

I am going to say 2 key players will be Cam Lee and Alex Thompson, if both of these guys can play good Defense and A-Train can get some type of offense it will help a huge amount today

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."
