    2 days and counting!

I don't know about you people, but I am starting to get psyched up for Nebraska! Less than two days! National tv, prime time game. And I am not drinking the Koolaid. I'm eating the Koolaid straight from the packet. I am snorting lines of the Koolaid off of my coffee table. I put some of the Koolaid in my shoes this morning to keep my feet dry. I gave some Koolaid to my dog so she could enjoy the feeling. I can't freaking wait! I love watching ISU beat Nebraska almost as much as I like watching them beat Iowa. BRING THEM ON!

I love all your enthusiasm... I can feel all the way here in Colorado. I'm a bit nervous though..... hopefully the crowd will be "jacked" like never before... and drown out the thousands of nebraska freaks coming over to ames.

In a Dan McCarney-esque useless statistic or fact, Nebraska has not won in Ames since Clinton was in office.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

I'm always psyched up for a Nebraska game. Nice to see you are coming around

Seriously though, it's been a long week in HuskerNation with the Nebraska press all over last week's defensive effort. Be glad you guys live in the state where the overall media (print, radio, etc.) lack a pair of balls to not once take the sunglasses off and be critical about anything, because it's tough to listen to Big Sports 590 when you are a sunshine pumper like I am.

Tomorrow night cann't get here soon enough.....

    TALE OF TWO CITIES
Ames and Lincoln have the same problem this year.
Ames thought the offense would be better from day one, and Lincoln thought the defense would be better from day one. Injuries and senior moment mistakes have changed the story in Ames with Carper, Smith, Robertson, and Berryman and switches to patch the safeties.
Injuries in Lincoln have seen Dillard and Bowman and slow recoveries by Herrion and switches to patch the safeties.

I hope Octo gets some PT, he would provide some much needed depth in he LB corp. Mann OTOH, I don't know. He's been down for so long with mono, I don't know if he would be in game shape or not.

Nebraska's only bringing 70 (the max allowed for road games), so i'm sure Callahan will try and get these 2 into the game.
