    Super Bowl Recipes

Anyone have a favorite soup or snack that they make for Super Bowl Parties? I have my eye on a corn chowder for something different but could be swayed to making something else for the big game feast. Any way here is the corn chowder recipe. Go Giants.(Sorry Hobbs.) Got this one from Recipezaar: Where the World's Recipes Are

Beer and little smokies, that is all the super bowl food I need.

Shiner Bock, bottle opener, enjoy. Substitute other fine beers for the previous example.

    Re: Super Bowl Recipes

We make this dip when we go places. People just LOVE it.

1 big container of sour cream
    1 package ranch dip mix
half a bag of that shredded bacon
half a bag of sharp chedder

Mix it all up in a bowl, and refridgerate overnight or at least a few hours (it softens up the bacon).

Put out fritos scoops. I don't think we have ever left a party with any of this dip left.

Yeah, it is not a healthy food, but I will probably consume more calories today than thanksgiving! This is the day to live it up!

I've got someone bringing that to my party, as well as spinach artichoke dip, so we are set for chips and dip. I've got a crockpot full of little smokies, another full of meatballs, and a fridge full of Boulevard and Bud Light. And I think there's a game on too...

    Re: Super Bowl Recipes

Combine any kind of cheese including sour cream or cream cheese, ranch dressing, some kind of pork and chips, and enjoy. If it can't possibly possibly induce a heart attack and add 5 pounds to your waist, it ain't worth it. Also ADD BEER to any recipe and direct consumption.
