Sagarin Time - The realistic computer approach to how good we are

After five weeks, the Sagarin ratings start to make sense as all teams become interconnected.

We rank higher than Colorado, UNLV, Toledo, UNI, Kansas, and Kansas State.
We rank lower than Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, Texas Tech, and Missouri.
    Home advantage is 3.57 points.
    6-6.

Started off 34th and now holding onto 57th place.
Looks like biggest disappointment to date of the five games was the UNLV game and the best game was the Iowa game.

numbers schmumbers.... Collegefootballnews.com still has ISU picked to play Kentucky in the Independence Bowl in their bowl predictions! Loyal ISU fans should probably look into getting a time-share in shreveport as long as DMac is going to remain head coach. I'm actually surprised they have ISU picked for any bowl after clipping UNI by one point.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

    Hey Bryce,

You posted in Basketball, thought you'd like to know.

Schedule strength is good and is only going to get better after the next few games.

Re: Sagarin Time - The realistic computer approach to how good we are

I know. I am ready for basketball training camp to start end of October to see what McD brings to the table. The first half of the UNI game was a bad dream. The second half was a yard wide of being a longer bad dream. Can we beat anyone on our schedule by more than a touchdown this year? Some started Cardiac Clones....maybe JP needs to put Nichols State on the schedule in 2012.

Re: Sagarin Time - The realistic computer approach to how good we are

That does seem pretty accurate, but usually the computer rankings are way out there in left field. I think ISU is probably more in the 25 to 30 range, but haven't shown it yet.
