    The Anti-Science Thread

What, am I the only English major here? Post your favorites with literature (I have a feeling this thread will die quickly).

On crappy days like these I like to read a little Robert Frost, myself.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

    Thomas Jefferson, 1802

    Re: The Anti-Science Thread

How about "The Grapes of Wrath" or "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck? I also found "The Catcher in the Rye" very interesting--not sure that I liked it, but it was interesting.
