Re: The best TV/ Movie villian of all time

Maybe not the best, but the first thing that popped into my head was Denzel Washington's character Alonzo in "Training Day"

I remember really hating that character after the movie ended... You really wanted him to die.

The mutants in the Hills Have Eyes. Never at the end of a movie have I wanted the bad guy to eat it as much as those things. Not the best screen villain of all time, but dear lord I hated those guys.

Re: The best TV/ Movie villian of all time

From early reviews they're saying Heath Ledger's Joker may belong in this discussion.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

Nice job on the Training Day reference - very accurate.

Kiefer Sutherland is another that comes to mind. Hero in 24, the villain you basically never see in Phone Booth.

I just saw "No Country for Old Men" and the bad guy Anton Chigurh in that movie is awesome. Talk about a cold blooded killer and he would just completely toy with people when talking to them. Javier Bardem should win the academy award for his performance imo.

the original terminator: he wasn't mean, he just didn't care and he didn't let anything stop him.

The emperor in star wars was much worse than Darth. Seriously bad dude

I wouldn't say best of all time, but I still cringe thinking about when Kathy Bates takes a sledgehammer to James Caan's ankles in Misery.
