    JTS Section 12

6 season tickets here, 250 donation. I always felt like most ticket holders in section 12 gave $100. Are they really ready to start donating $500? More power to them but, I think Jamie is pushing the season ticket holder a little too far. Why not target NEW ticket holders?
Go ahead and blast me; but after being a season ticket holder since 1975, I'm not renewing.

Don't do it dude. Don't let pride get in the way of your true love. The poets Cinderella put it best, "You don't know what you got until it's gone". How about giving blood every week for a year. Not only will it cover the additional cost you will be saving lives. Will you just think about it?

ISU football is still cheap you get 7 three hour games plus tailgating. It costs about $100 to go see Billy Joel at the Wells Fargo, for a 2 hour show.

Yes, but Billy Joel has never ripped my heart out.

Actually, I saw his show at Hilton when I was in school in the early 90's.

At which he gave a little insight into the bedtime apparel of one Christy Brinkley.

And finished with ".. something you'll never see. Ha!"

So yes - he's ripped my heart out.

To each their own. Gotta do what ya gotta do. I know I'm quickly approaching my financial breaking point.

Just don't expect to be feeling good about it come August.

I did/said pretty much the same thing this time last year. Fortunately there were still some decent seats after the Meet the Coaches night last August.

I am glad they are doing this. It is time they started giving the newer donors like myself the chance to move up a little.

Just keep your donation level and sit somewhere else. Its not like you are getting a huge change in seats.

I'm pretty sure you can only give blood like every other month... unless you mean plasma.

    Re: JTS Section 12

We gave $250 last year and had 40-45 yard seats in section N. Were upgrading to $500 this year and not expecting a huge change in seats. I dont blame you for being upset, not a lot of people can afford to pay more for tix every year, last year was the first year we were able to. Give what you can and try to get into the games.

    Re: JTS Section 12

not blasting anyone inparticular but some people just don't get it. In order to compete in the Big 12 and across the nation you have to have nice facilities and great coaches. In order to have nice facilities and great coaches you have to have $ coming into the university as donations, season ticket sales, ect... Now in order to have $ coming into the university you have to raise prices and donation levels. Now some fans aren't going to be willing to put up that much $ to watch a 3-8 team, but only way we get this turned around to 8-3 is if we have the other things. More $ coming in means,--> better facilities --> better coaches --> better recruits --> better record --> happier fans.

Better records --> Less students charging the field for "insignificant" wins

That alone should be enough motivation for some people to donate. Remember those threads?

No... I think we should dwell on the intro music threads. Thatll make us a better program.

    Re: JTS Section 12

    Can we please get either....
    1. Uniform/Helmet design or color thread
    2. Intro music thread
    3. A thread regarding the 'student section'
    4. Night games debate thread

I can smell the brats on the grill just thinking about any of those threads.
