Down to the level of our competition

It has been said before. But how many people believe that we just play down to the level of our competition? We have really close games with not so great Toledo and UNLV teams, then we play very well against our rival Iowa, we squander the few chances that we had to stay in the game against Texas, then we have the nail biters of all nail biters against lowly D-1AA UNI. Is it just me or does this team have an identity crisis? All of this on top of what could be called a 'sandwich' game in between two top Big XII programs. I for one am not giving up on this team, as I will be cheering as loud, if not louder as I ever have next weekend. GO CLONES!

Yeah, I've noticed that myself. Which only leaves the question: When did we get good enough to play down to our competition? Wasn't there supposed to be an in-between stage?
