    MP3 player help

Question to see if there is anyone who can help me out. I just recently bought a 4 gig mp3 player and I know how to transfer my music files and what not, but I am not sure how to put videos on it. I have mp3 Rocket Pro and I can download video but it says it is not compatable with my player and cannot be viewed. Does anyone know if there is a website that you need to go to in order to convert video to be compatable for mp3?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm pretty sure the MP3 players that can play videos are called MP4... do you have one of those?

No its a Sansa mp3 player by Sandisk. Ive looked at various internet sites and they all say to convert the file so that you can have it in a mpeg file, but my video is mpeg and still does not work...

    Re: MP3 player help

sansa should have provided a conversion tool with your player. If not, you can download one The official Sansa Site . Just being an mpeg file isn't enough. It needs to be encoded properly to playback on the limited hardware your player has.

Hmmm...where are you getting the videos from? Are they like home movies, or ripped DVDs, or some other source? They could be protected content, or the converter didn't do what you expected.

    Check out thisLINK

Way to go man, I'm just happy you didn't say it was an Ipod. Not to bash the Ipod, its a very fine mp3 player and many of Apples products are high quality, it does irk me how quite a few people consider them God's gift to the technological world.
