I still can't get over the fact that Baylor might be the best team in Texas.

Step 1: Cut a hole in the box.

I like the statement said about Nebraska that "Year 2 of a rebuilding program, might be the hardest". I think we can relate to that.

Bigger issue for me is we had 'em, they were who we thought they were, and we let 'em off the hook...

Honestly hasn't Nebraska been rebuilding for 10 years.

If only the team could get from the 16:00 to 12:00 in that game back.

I think we blew the game against Baylor with 2-22 run. We could have beat them. They really were not that much better than us.

Looks like he is underrating Texas Tech.

OWH-Barfnecht moves Cyclones up to Sixth

A week or two ago he had Nebraska in 6th with 1 conference loss. This guy isn't the one of the best, but is a lot better than anyone at the DM Register. They all write only columns, at the RAG. No information or insight is ever given on a broad scope, just points of views on specific topics. If the wire sevices went down tonight, the Registers sports section would be 1/2 to 1 page long.

Re: OWH-Barfnecht moves Cyclones up to Sixth

Tom Shatel also had a nice little note on the Big XII in his first down and second guesses column. He said "What did we learn about Big 12 basketball this week? Kansas State and Michael Beasley are growing up fast, Texas A&M isn't that good and Iowa State's Greg McDermott can coach. And Kansas is still Kansas." Nice to get a little mention in his column, seeing how he spent most of it talking about Pelini and NE football.

I've found that the OWH tends to be complimentary towards ISU and for being a Husker newspaper they tend to be pretty well balanced.
