Herschel Walker meet Herschel Walker and Herschel Walker and....

Herschel is saying that he has multiple personalities. Sounds like it's news to his friends.

Hmmmmmmmmm. New book coming out and then this. Seems convenient.

As a Viking fan, I remember his first game as a Vike and I believe his 1st touch (can't remember if it was a carry or a kick off return) but he took it for like 65 yards and his shoe fell off durring the play. At that point, I though the Vikes had found their savior.

Little did anyone know at that time, that the Herschel trade would set the Cowboys up for a decade of dominance.

Same here...I remember that play vividly. He never really did much for the Vikes after that. It always said that the Vikes used the wrong sets for his talents. Too bad he didn't have a personality that was better adapted to the Vikings offensive sets...

It also set the Viking franchise back about 10 years..... it's always on the top 10 lists for worst trades of all time in any sport.

Another great personnel decision: going against Mike Tice and drafting Troy Williamson instead of Shawne Merriman.....

Well, in light of the new book, maybe he did have that personality, but it was hidden at the time. JK
