Maywether/De le Hoya & Cyclone Football...

ESPN - Golden Boy CEO: Mayweather-De La Hoya II could come in September - Boxing

I really, really, really hope this fight doesn't happen on the Sept 20th (ISU vs UNLV) Vegas would be packed with fight going ******** and EVERYTHING would cost twice as much. This would suck...as soon as they announce fight dates room prices WILL double.

Schaefer said the fight would be Sept. 13 or Sept. 20 on HBO pay-per-view. He said the site for Mayweather-De La Hoya II has not been settled but he is holding the September dates at the 27,000-seat Home Depot Center, the outdoor home to the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer. He said other venues are also interested, including the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

If you lose enough at the casino, they might comp tickets to the fight.

Boring. I wouldnt want to watch these two fight again. Come on Floyd, fight Cotto.

When we played at UNLV in 1999, De La Hoya vs. Trinidad was the same night.

Is Couture still fighting at Light Heavyweight?

This fight isn't even going to be close. Cotto-Mayweather is what everyone really wants to see. Wasn't Pretty Boy Floyd going to go into MMA? I thought I heard that somewhere.

He can fight either but I think he still has a dispute with UFC. I don't think we will see him fight again...

I live in PR and they go crazy for Cotto. I have watched his last 4 fights and he is damn good.

I can always stay with friends that live in the Vegas area.

I have attending a few of the mega fights and always had a good time. I would welcome having another event on the same weekend.

Yea, I miss seeing him. He was great as a commentator. I went to Best Buy and picked up the Ultimate Fighter season 1 for $15... Chuck and Randy are great!
