    scanner frequencies

So I bought a scanner last night and most of the frequencies i've found on the internet have been the NWS, even though the description says something. Does anyone have some frequncies they could PM me? I"m looking for DOT (namely snow plows), Polk County (snow plows), etc.

    Thanks.

What kind of scanner? I have a Pro-97 and a Radio Reference subscription. I am loaded for Story County.

    Thumbs up Re: scanner frequencies

I am pretty sure that the polk county snow plows operate off of the counties 800mhz RACOM system. If your scanner can track trunked systems you can get a lot of the frequency info here Scanner Frequencies: RACOM Trunking System, Various, Multi-State

The DOT uses the following frequencies: 151.08500, 158.89500, 159.16500, 159.18000 and 159.19500. I am guessing that the plows also use those frequencies.
