I enjoyed reading the article too. He may go down as one of the "All-Time" Great Cyclones, not just for his play on the court, but his devotion to ISU. He stuck it out when it would have been easy to bail! I think I will have my nine year old son read about Shon to learn about loyalty, perseverance and not doing what the crowd is doing.

I'm really going to miss him when he's gone, and I really think the team is too. He might not ever play in the NBA, but you can go a long way in life with a good degree, a good spouse, and a good head on your shoulders. It sounds like he's going to have all of those things.

Also, I have never heard of any off court issues with him. Maybe there have been, but he's represented the school very well. You just wonder what is going through some of these other guys heads sometimes, it's crazy.

Re: Great article on Rahshon in todays DMR

What a great story for once from the Rag. Congrats to them.

I admire Rashon staying here while Morgan was more then eager to find every single player a new home away from ISU. It shows character and class, and he will always be remembered for that. Even longer then some of his monster dunks and plays.

In a way that sentence shows Morgan's character, and how he encouraged people to transer. Wonder how his job is going???

The comment about Morgan makes it sound like he wanted guys to leave Iowa State if Morgan initiated it. I could see him helping if the player came to him first.

DID YOU KNOW? Every time he makes a jump shot, Clark forms the letter "A'' with the fingers of his right hand to recognize his fiance Amber ******.
He is such a sweet guy!

Re: Great article on Rahshon in todays DMR

I agree. Great article on Rahshon! He's a first class guy all the way...this profile on him was long overdue. For every idiot, criminal or selfish D-I athlete there are five or ten great stories that can be told. One thing I can say for the kids McDermott is recruiting, they seem to be good people. It's not surprising that Rahshon is the one from the Morgan era who stuck around.

Dear God, we haven't had a 4 year player stay with the team since Jake and Homan. It's about time and Shon's the perfect guy to start the new trend.

    Great article!

Loved both of the photos they used too. Wish I could get a hold of the full-sized images and do some funky things in Photoshop with 'em. :)

"Coach Morgan told me if I wanted to leave, he would try and find me somewhere to go," Clark said.

That does make it sound bad for Morgan. Not sure if that is out of context, but it does raise questions in my mind.

Rahshon is awesome, and ISU does owe him a lot.

Re: Great article on Rahshon in todays DMR

I told him, 'If this is going to make you happy, it's going to make me happy.'
And then after his father died...

"I told him, 'Your dad would be so proud of you, just go and do what you have to do,' " Josephine said. "And that's what he did."
How many parents say this type of stuff to their kids? Many kudos for who Clark has become today go to his parents.

[QUOTE=Cyclonepride;316530]"Coach Morgan told me if I wanted to leave, he would try and find me somewhere to go," Clark said.

I think you guys are fishing. I take this only as a coach looking after or offering support to his player if he wanted to look elsewhere due to the coaching change. Nothing wrong with that.

    Rah is awesome!
