    Talib to go pro

Aqib Talib has announced he is going pro... That hurts KU, but that guy is a freakin stud, he will make some big $$ in the NFL.

    Re: Talib to go pro

He is a stud, he was beat by blythe a couple times this year bad and Aqib had his jersey held two other times all the way down the field.

But he is a very good player, quick, good hands, tall, and will be making some serious bank in the league.

Lockdown corners like Talib are needed in the nfl. Good move on his part, his stock cannot be much higher than it is right now.

    Re: Talib to go pro

Plus, the entire crop for this year's draft does not seem all that great - from the little I've read about it.

Good year for some of these younger guys to skate. There are going to be some above average guys (especially at QB) getting big pay-days when they normally wouldn't.

Yup...I agree. They aught to trade out of it - they need a lot of pieces. Parcells has never hesitated much to trade down in the first round and he's done well with it - notably with Dallas.

    Re: Talib to go pro

I am guessing a lot of undeserving quarterbacks end up on teams next year. There truly are some terrible qb's starting in the nfl this year and I can't wait for it to be over.

The top picks can be really hard to trade because all of the money that a top pick costs, and they are not guaranteed success.....calling Mr. Gallery...

i have noticed this too, there is some terrible QB play some places. Lots of discrepancy from the top guys and bottom guys at that position in the NFL.
