P- ALLEN BEING COMPARED TO TERREL OWENS

Listening to big sports 590 out of Omaha today. They were talking about P-Allen Stinnett being a bad teammate and not buying into the Dana Altman system. Showing a lot of Attitude and being a distraction. They also compared him to Terrel Owens. He is being somewhat of a cancer in the locker room. When things are going good he is okay. When the losses start to pile up he points fingers and is a jerk. Maybe not such a big loss for ISU. Sounds like another Taylor.

He was like 2-9 for 5 points in his last game.

Has talent, but really must not be buying into Altman's plan.

I was with you until the last sentence. Taylor was not a bad teammate. He was the most positive guy on the floor for us. By all accounts he was a good teammate, not a jerk by any means. Classic example of a good kid who couldn't stay out of trouble.

You may want to ask Cory Mc. this question.

Isn't this kind of an oxymoron? Also, McD said that McIntosh transferred because he didn't get along with Taylor. Things weren't all rosy with him.

Re: P- ALLEN BEING COMPARED TO TERREL OWENS

He may have gotten along with most of the team but McDermott was quoted for saying the reason that Cory M. left last year was directly related to not getting along with Taylor!

I don't mean to continue bashing Taylor... but give me a break. He wasn't in trouble by accident. He did some really stupid things. Sure, he probably wasn't a mean person or anything, but if you're gonna be considered a "good kid", you gotta stay out of trouble like that and not do stupid stuff like he did.

But, enough about that, he did what he did, and he got punished, and hopefully he learns from it.

Re: P- ALLEN BEING COMPARED TO TERREL OWENS

As for not getting along with Cmac, it takes two to tango.

I know plenty of people who are well liked that get into trouble more often than they should.

Don't get me wrong, Taylor had his issues, I just don't think they were the same as Stinnett's

Lol...this is funny. Mike T wasn't the one that was a bad teammate, Cory was. Cory didn't just not get along with Mike T, he didn't get along with anyone! He was the one who would blame everything on the rest of the team and complain and cry about everything. Cory had an unbelievably big ego for someone who was so freaking horrible! He even called himself "The Mac Man"....Please! Mike T was not the smartest kid when it came to staying out of trouble, but he was a good friend and teammate to all the guys on the team. That was not the case with Cory!

I agree with what you are saying. Maybe I should have said 'nice' kid instead.

Interesting. While we're at it, could you tell me just how bad was the cold that MT had that he felt compelled to steal NyQuil??

    "The Mac Man"=Hilarious!

Re: P- ALLEN BEING COMPARED TO TERREL OWENS

I guess it's just that when you hear Cory didn't come back because of Taylor you assume it's Taylors fault just because his off the court problems. I never had a clue it was Cory's problem!!
