    Goat of the Day...

Gotta be Parker. Sorry young man...but on 3rd and long, down by 9 and an incomplete pass that gives the ball back to ISU with about 4 minutes left on the clock...you just can't commit that penalty (hitting the QB VERY late).

Texas goes down and scores making it 30-14 at the half instead of...well...who knows. 23-21? Or still 30-14 if we don't move the ball.

    Either way...very dumb play kid.

I think this is his second penalty like this so far in just 4 games. Ridiculous.

We love ya Parker...really...we do...but ya gotta stop that or we'll lose that loving feeling real quick.

That penalty was a huge momentum swinger no doubt. We might not have scored but we had wind in our sails and that penalty ripped that sail in two. Bubba is lucky he didn't get kicked out of the game either the way it looked helmet to helmet and so late.........

IMO his loss is what makes/breaks this team. A consistant pass rush is the keystone of a great d. We lack that aspect.

editL; more important than ANY other aspect of the game of football

Let's hope that Parker learns from that huge mistake and becomes a smart football player. He could be a great defensive standout.

Totally agree. Still don't think ISU would have won the game, but I would have liked to have seen them get a shot on offense at the end of the first half with the score 23-14.

    Re: Goat of the Day...

Mr. Parker would be getting fined this morning if that happened in the NFL.

Pretty sure Texas would still have beaten us. After all they did march it down the field basically every chance they had.

We are just lucky they didnt have Young most of the game.

Most actually believe that Charles is the better back anyway. Charles has been taking more and more carries.
