Yep. Then NDSU realized it was the same old, CPR- compressed field and they could play down-hill. Our points/possession is not going to be good.

No, we are young and started missing assignments because of that.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.

I believe in what Mangio will do, I have a feeling we see improvement for KSU.

Reason for optimism #2. With the offense like this we may be able to keep manginos longer before they jump ship to a different coaching job.

We are not young on offense.

If it requires multi-year starters and All-Big 12 talent across the board to get past the horrible level against ******* NDSU, then we are not running the correct offense. When you miss assignments for over 5 years and multiple players, many of which have been physically competent, you are running the wrong offense. I miss the days when getting beat on the oline was because we had dlinemen convert 3 weeks prior in camp or we simply got overwhelmed by top Dlines.

    Re: possible optimism?

idk, maybe i'm just high, but i think we will be a hell of a lot better by the end of the season, it will be night and day.

side note: Did anyone get a little giddy, when they actually lined up under center? I was. nice and refreshing.

    Our kicker was good.

    Running game was dismal.

    Re: possible optimism?

    ISU will get better

    The opponents will get tougher

The opponents will get tougher at a faster rate than ISU gets better

Wait, wat? Guess I can't find much optimism. Sorry.
