Not buying season tickets was the best decision I've ever made.

I debated long and hard, but finally decided that it wasn't worth it to buy tickets.

Why do it to myself? I can watch on TV and leave whenever I want. Pee whenever I want. Mow the yard. Try to bang the wife. I can watch other games.

I'll still go to a couple games, probably, but I don't have to feel obligated to watch this product just because I have the tickets.

There were 4 of us watching the game who said the exact same thing. So glad I didn't waste time in Ames today.

The Tickets I buy are still cheap enough where I will continue to buy to support the athletic program but won't blame anyone who can't.
If I made a large donation/parking pass and multiple tickets, I'd reconsider. The ROI just is not there.
We just got **** pounded by a D2 school on our own home field where we have every advantage in the book.

At what point does continuing to support this product like Cub fans ensure the same result?

Decided at the end of last year that the product on the field wasn't worth my drive and amount of time spent.

Not worth the emotional investment, either. Used to be POed after a loss like this and it ruined my day. Not any more...

Same for me. Its time to treat ISU football the same way I treat the Cubs. With a grain of salt.
