You forgot his amazing [lack of] vertical lift...

I really want to see him slam home a few alley oops this year. :)

    Re: Niang

Niang has mentioned multiple times that his appreciation for playing basketball increased after his foot injury. No worries here.

Being a likely wooden award finalist should motivate him.

That chance we have for a Final Four berth could motivate him a little.

Finally a decent response not fixated on a typo. This is my thought exactly, Niang will have plenty of drive to prove himself after the foot injury, and Fred won't let him forget he is the leader of this team now. Plenty to keep him motivated.

Can you imagine the attention that would get? Not because it looked nasty, but just because of who was doing it.

That said, he is probably 5th on the list of which players to try it with: 1.) McKay 2.) BDJ 3.) Hogue 4.) Nader 5.) Edozie Or high-flying guard.

I like the extra muscle. But I am worried about the weight he lost. He moved pretty good last year and their is a law called Physics.

    Re: Niang

After tasting what could've been deep runs in the tourney the last 2 years, nobody that's been on the team should have any issues with motivation. They know they can do something very special.

I know...it's not really his function on the team. But it would be so damn suhWeet after all of the crap about his vertical the last two years...sort of like an exclamation point every now & again. :)

In interviews earlier in the summer, Georges talked about how he was asked to put weight on last year in order to better battle under the basket defensively, and that he was asked to lose weight for this year.
