One more turnover called correctly would have made a big difference in one game!

    Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
    'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town'

[QUOTE=ChickenWing;4138574] Negative is the interior. Jensen is not McDonough, not even close.

Does anyone know how good Jensen was in fall camp? It seems like someone had posted that he was really playing well, but I can not remember where I heard that. Maybe he has come back with great determination? He may have been mailing it in after Coe and Irving took the interior starting positions last year. It was enough to make him quit.

    This.

I thought they were asking if he would take Coleman's senior stats or AL soon have freshman stats.

    Wording? Interpretation?

Or one less mistake per possession. Rewatching several of the games, sans OU and Baylor I do not see the physical mismatch I saw in past bad years. Compared to the opposition, we had a lot more self-inflicted wounds, missed opportunities, and a very predictable scheme. Part of that is youth and a lack of confidence, but CPR (and his staff) got out-coached last year, and I don't just mean on gameday. Wide-spread execution issues.Hopefully adding Mangino and his hires will change that.
