Is Matt Perrault available? Let's bring back Giggles so he can face the music about how wrong he was about Hoiball.

I'm really surprised anybody would listen to either of those two on the radio. And certainly not together. Yuck

I agree. I think he's the single-worst guy I've ever heard on radio. And with Brinson, Tirrell, Perault having been on in this market, that is saying a lot.

never understood the hate for local shows. If you like national shows that have zero to do with ISU then find the internet or Sat radio.

Sorry, just because a show is local, doesn't make it good. And Out of Bounds was rarely, if ever, good.

I think it has more to do with who is doing the local shows. I don't think many people hate or even dislike ones like Murph and Andy (although I'm not a fan of that show), but certain people on local shows are almost intolerable (Cotlar and Brinson).

Never listen to that station but glad to that show leave. Never made sense to have a local show the same time a major national show (Rome).

They really blamed CBS for pushing Rome instead of the truth which is 8 people listened a day?

Wow...having Rome crumple up papers and talk like a dbag about USC football or the Broncos. Maybe even talk for 20 mins and not even now WTF he is talking about.
or listen to local guys (good or bad) talk Clones and Hawks.
And you can listen to Rome a bunch of different ways.

Garmin is a Hawkeye 100%, but you won't find a nicer guy in the business and he's not over the top. He's also an Iowa graduate unlike Jon Miller, so not surprising.
You mean Jon "Spiderman" Miller never graduated from EIU?

I absolutely hate Rome, but you're giving Cotlar and Garmin too much credit for their "local angle". Sure the Cy-Hawk stuff was there, but only in small quantities. They would have been much better served talking more about Iowa and Iowa State, and less about the parade of pointless drivel they trotted out daily.
