    Re: SEC logo ‘brilliant/modern’ design

The invention of beer was brilliant, creating a circle logo with your letters in it not so much.

Sounds like something I might have done at that age. Maybe not the logos, but similar off-kilter art projects.

If I would have done that at 7, it would've been Big 8 logo, which I still think rules.

    Brilliant? Try derivative, unoriginal knock-off.

Why does the commissioner have his hands on the shoulders of the guy in front of him? It isn't a family picture. But then again it's the SEC SEC SEC!

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

When I saw the line in the browser "evokes southern tradition authenticity" my first thought was, confederate flag?

    Re: SEC logo ‘brilliant/modern’ design

The logo is really good. Classic looking and does not have the embarrassment of having a number that does not align to the actual number of schools.

I don't know of the top of my head what the new big 10 logo is or Pac 10

    SEC is easy
American is just a big A right
    ACC is just ACC
    Big 12 kept the numerals

Smoke um if you got um
