I assume there was footballing at the scrimmage. Is that more than I should know?

    Re: Iowa State Scrimmage 8/9

I came here tonight to post a thread about what I seen from the last practice and the scrimmage but after reading this crap I'll just keep my mouth shut. I think its total BS that the loyal fans paying good money for tickets cant get any info .
    I am sorry....

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

To say that so and so looked solid on the line, or that, of the 3 QBs so and so looked the sharpest, etc., has zero bearing on the upcoming success, or lack thereof, of the team. If the coaches really wanted everything kept under wraps, it would be closed to everybody, GC members included. Yet instead it's open to anyone willing to pay 25 bucks for a membership? I can understand an agreement between the program and the media perhaps, but to comment vaguely on what one saw could not possibly be all that earth shattering, especially compared to the info that's been released all week, and going to be released later today.

The coaches mostly say "keep it on the down low" to help make the donors feel extra special that they are getting to see some real important/top secret stuff. It sells. Nothing wrong with donating to the program though.

No worries, Cap...tell you what, I got a solution. You can go to next year's practice as a letterwinner. Go up to the CGC muckety-mucks and ask them why they have to be such dooshers. If they give you guff...forearm right to the chops. It'll make you feel proud again.

I just except the scrimmage to be like a game of NFL BLITZ 2000! So I am happy.

FYI if you ever attend a closed practice of any team especially college and pro...you don't talk about a thing with anyone that doesn't wasn't there or that you can't trust.

You would be surprised the lengths Rhoads staff goes during Iowa week to make sure no one is lurking around the practice area.

You should probably brush up on what the First Amendment actually is...

Well... In fairness to me I was going to be the ******* that posted Iowa State won but someone else beat me to it.

So I just decided to make fun of the guy who doesn't know what the First Amendment is.

I caught the sarcasm, and it told me all I needed to know about where the thread ended up.
