Re: Camp Insider: Montgomery progress a good sign for offense

I'm beginning to think the Mangino-combination may be better than advertised - and I will withhold this season's results from that to allow for them to have the appropriate time (in my eyes).

D'Vario's comments on the Mangino's offense is very encouraging as well.

I would like this guy to catch an 80 yard touchdown and run it down the line past LakesBison.

So D'Vario is listed at 6'5" and 220, and Chris states "that he looks bigger in person". (????)

What kind of speed does Montomery have? 10 years ago he would have been a designated go to TE with his size. Fortunately ISU already has one of those.

I think he might be the player I am most excited to see this season

Re: Camp Insider: Montgomery progress a good sign for offense

IF likeability would win you games the young Mangino would have us 12-0. In the D'Vario video he is so darn thankful for a second chance and you have to think he wants to please Tommy Mangino.

Time to switch him to linebacker.

I know (think?) you're kidding, but Montgomery was a beastly outside linebacker in high school.

Hopefully he is on the Hail Mary defensive unit. I don't want to see another one of those at the end of a half.

Is D'Vario the most recruited player on this team? If not any ISU team? 30+ offers including Bama, FL, FL ST, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, TX A&M ect. ect.....

I'll have to check to see how the rest of these guys ahead of him panned out:
