ANYTHING Type O Negative covered. Easily the most unique band at putting their own spin on another band's work.

    Re: Favorite Cover Songs

I think most of my favorites have been mentioned (and thumbs-upped) already, but I will say because of this thread I'm having a heck of a concert for one with my laptop and my chromecast in the basement (so as not to wake the wife and kiddos) right now.

*edit: And that Boyce fella does some pretty good work.

Most of this metallica album was complete garbage but I agree with this.

Lissie's cover of Kid Cudi's Pursuit of Happiness is one of my favorites. Lissie is originally from the Quad Cities an has a great voice.

This is actually a live string arrangement of the cover, but I was at this show and it was so damn awesome I wanted to post it. Iron and Wine's cover of the original by the Postal Service stands on its own just fine.

    Re: Favorite Cover Songs

Another favorite of mine, mostly due to the setting. There is a little bit of feedback now and then, but that's to be expected for guys playing on the street corner.

I can't believe more people aren't putting money in their guitar case though. That's flat out stealing IMO, to listen to that for free.

I just love the setting though, with the full moon coming and going behind the clouds, the people, and of course the quality of music.
