Great, another MSU transfer with baggage (why else would he be transferring so late in the game?).

I'm just adding a stock comment to make sure it got mentioned.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.

He was suspended by Izzo a couple times last year for academic issues. Maybe there were summer class expectations he didn't meet or something.

Correct he would need to walk on and lose a year of eligibility since he has already red shirted and then could be on scholarship for 2 years.

Re: Michigan State's Kenny Kaminski to transfer

Interesting article about his decision to leave: http://www.mlive.com/spartans/index....ces_on_tw.html

He was saying all of the right things when he talked to his local paper after the suspension last year and he seemed to have an increasing role later in the year. I can't imagine Izzo would have let him get his minutes if his attitude hadn't started to adjust.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. A lot of question marks, but more and more schools are dipping into the transfer market and someone will probably take a chance with him as his future looks promising if he can get healthy and stay out of trouble.

I do wonder how bad that back issue ended up being: http://www.mlive.com/spartans/index....alenti_13.html

Can somebody give him a scholarship for this year if they banked one?

Easily could play "3" to "5" in Fred's system

    49.4% from three-land (38/77) as a true freshman in the Big 10

I'm sure Fred could find a use for a "stretch" guy like that

Our posts in two years figure to be senior Georges, senior McKay, sophomore The Greek, and whatever Williams might bring there... there's definitely room, particularly after we lose Hogue next year, and Fred is going to need to rebuild that "line" for life after Georges in two years...

Or he could work for a year and go back to school...

That's all you really need to see. I would love to have him.

I'm liking this new prospect from our farm team. Do you think we call him up to the big time?

My thought is that with the limited scholarships we need to shoot higher.
