Now please excuse me. I have to find some Georgia Championship Wrestling with Gordon Solie.
I just found this too. This might have been it. It seemed like they used to do it a few years earlier with some of the older tag teams.

For example, the Rock held the belt for 70 days and I don't think he wrestled at all between those days.

These guys are never going to work 300 days a year like the old days, the money's not there.

Beast Incarnates have the upper hand in today's world.

I hope he's at least around more for promos/impromptu brawling ect.

Makes it that much more impressive CM Punk did 434 days as active/fighting champion.

    Re: WWE SummerSlam

Rumors are swirling that AJ is leaving WWE to work on building a family. Though it's just rumors and I doubt it.

Then again, sounds like WWE may be preparing for a lawsuit against Punk for not filling out his contract. It would be awkward for AJ to still work with the WWE while they are suing her husband.

I'm not so sure it's a great move for the WWE to sue Punk, BUT in their defense, he has said that he doesn't see himself ever going in the ring again.

Finally - the greatest trending topic yesterday and into this morning wasn't Cena, Lesnar, or HHH. It was CM Punk. The fans want him back so bad. It wouldn't be a bad idea for the WWE just to spill out all their money on him and just tell him to wrestle once a month and show up every show and just talk trash to everyone around.

Now that I think about it, if they told Punk to only wrestle the PPV's, so many more people would buy the WWE App just to watch him.

    Re: WWE SummerSlam

Cesaro vs. RVD: a match between 2 guys who haven't win since Money in the Bank. I get that they don't want Cesaro overshadowing Roman during Romans push, but does that require Ceasaro to lose every match?

Ziggler vs. Miz: strangely, this is where I find Ziggler the most interesting. He also got a good match out of Miz. Didn't think Miz would drop the title so soon, I wonder if it has something to do with BNB being ahead of schedule.

Paige vs. AJ: I think Rulzzz already covered my thoughts on this one lol.

Ambrose vs. Rollins: I hated that this match was a lumberjack match at first, but this one was unique. The lumberjacks weren't some unbeatable force and actually played a strong part of the match. They hardly even limited the 2 in the ring. It helps that Rollins and Anbrose are 2 of the best in the company as well. I get the feeling that we will have this feud end in a HiaC match at HiaC, which will be one hell of a match.

Flag Match: it was a pretty good match, but that wasn't a flag match. Isn't a flag match like a whatever on a pole match but with 2 flags on poles? Swagger was kept strong by passing land Rusev gets to be unbeaten still. How long until he faces Cena? That's where all monster heels go at some point.

Steph vs. Brie. Exatly what i expected from this match other then Nikki turning. It was funny seeing Brie trying to get a reaction over and over until she kicked HHH. TNA also just figured out what their Bound For Glory plans with the Hardyz will be.

Cena vs. Lesnar. Cena got. Slaughtered. Just destroyed. I thought he would get a lot more offense then he did. I wonder how they will handle Brock as champ now. He's wrestled 3 matches already this year, ad he normally only wrestles in a about 3 or 4 a year. I would think he has another deal cut to wrestle every ppv or close to that.

This was a pretty good show but like what mj said earlier, nothing was horribly memorable.

I think we got a little spoiled with WM being so memorable. The streak ending and Dan Bryan finally getting over.

I'm a huge Lesnar mark and have been a fan since his OVW days. Last night was pretty much pure awesomesauce. God I can't wait to hear the promo Heyman is going to cut tonight on Raw.

This GIF is by far my favorite moment from Summerslam. Lesnar is just completely unhinged and it's amazing.

    Re: WWE SummerSlam

IMO this was a solid ppv and other that wrestlemania tell me a ppv this year that was better? It featured WWE finally putting a belt on Ziggler, the start this generation's star's in Rollins and Ambrose, Reigns keeps rolling but it was Randy Orton who IMO is over-rated. And it featured a BEATDOWN of Cena by Brock.

Love seeing psycho AJ return. That should be fun to watch. Ambrose-Rollins and the charity challenge have made me laugh multiple times tonight. Not a terrible show so far.
