I am completely ok with this.. Texas Roadhouse blows anyways. I have never had a good entree there anytime I have went, and have tried it about 6-7 times. I have given up on them.

    I WAS THERE!!!!!!

Kind of the opposite with me. I always brace myself for prices being a bit high and not the best food but when I leave I always feel like I've gotten a really good value for the money I spent.

Those rolls and the butter. Give me about 25 of those and 4 beers. I'd be set.

Are the mattresses upstairs, or in a semi trailer in the parking lot?

Disagree. I've been there several times; I've always been happy with the service, the prime rib, and left feeling quite full (although more than a little lighter in the wallet).

Yea, I have mostly been satisfied after eating at Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse will be fine with the changes to the road, the only thing it may do is make the site less marketable if Texas Roadhouse or Autozone were to leave or go under. I don't think the lot available on the corner will be affected so much since its right on the corner anyway and will have access from S 5th as well. I think this will improve the roadway in this area terms of safety/congestion though as you won't have people trying to turn across traffic into drives along this stretch.

There's this really delicious sandwich place I've been to in Norman and Lawrence called Pickles. I went to their site to email them and tell them to bring it to Ames, another Big 12 town, but the site said they are opening stores in Iowa soon, but didn't say where. I just assumed with our new campus, they would be adding it down there.

Oh wait we're talking S. Duff.

I noticed PepperJax is opening a location on duff too. Never been to one.
Don't know if the conceptualization in the link is accurate, but those big blue "I"s would look nice in Gold or Cardinal.

Hopefully it's a memorial for the old Happy Joe's location so I can make a pilgrimage...HJ's is like heaven.

SMH...more construction, more pavement. Still a flood plain.

I don't know why anyone would open a business there. It's just going to flood in the next few years

Seems like maybe it is just you and I on this. Other than the rolls, I have never had anything there that I thought was worth the price. Definitely not the steak, but Not even the chicken strips.

I'm far from picky when it comes to restaurants, but I don't think I've ever been in a Texas Roadhouse I liked. It's been a few years so it may have changed by now, but the last thing I want when ordering over priced, marginal at best steaks is blaring country music, waitresses forced to dance around like idiots on a regular basis, picking peanut shells out of my clothes and sweet potatoes with marshmallows melted into them. What kind of savage does that to sweet potatoes?

Add me to this list. Like the rolls, hate every other last thing about it.
