    Re: Rick Neuheisel.....

He was a bright young coach, with a Great future not so long ago, gambling, cheating, recruiting scandals, have really diminished his future......

I was very surprise that he was able to get another Head Job...?

    Re: Rick Neuheisel.....

I totally agree with Mark May on this one...it was a questionable hire, but he is an alumnus of UCLA and i bet within 3 years they are either a) on probation or b) they will be the cleanest program in the nation.

any coach who has gone after a former school and the NCAA, sued, and WON. will be watched very closely.

    Re: Rick Neuheisel.....

I would imagine that Rick will try to run a very clean program at UCLA knowing that the NCAA will be out for blood.

And based on the NCAA's history, I'm betting they find something on him.

    Re: Rick Neuheisel.....

I know it is inevitable that Coaches will always change jobs....

When Rick left Colorado for Washington, he did it the same day as their Football Banquet. You have all the players, families, coaches, support staff at a Banquet waiting for their Head Coach, an announcement comes at the Banquet that Rick will not be here this evening, he has just accepted the Head Coaching position at Washington....

There are right ways of doing things, this was Rick's way......?

    Re: Rick Neuheisel.....

Skippy actively pursued the ISU job last year-thank God Jamie saw through that act.

I don't see him getting it done at UCLA

    Re: Rick Neuheisel.....

Neuheisel screwed UW and sowed the seeds that got Gary Barnett in trouble at CU. He needs to go back to the dark, damp recesses of the sport and stay there.
One of my least favorite "personalities" in the noble game of college football.
