Surprisingly, Brian Williams is very concerned, and has used the word extreme about 27 times. Hopefully we can survive this outbreak of room temperature weather.

The media continues to get dumber and dumber about this stuff all the time. OMG!! It's cooler than normal!! Everybody freak the frak out!! Cheese 'n rice, get over it and put on a sweatshirt in the evening. It's back to the 80s by the weekend.

I'm good on bread and milk. Now I just need to find my 1/4 zip fleece pullover and hunker down for the week.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I'm guessing that's meant sarcastically? The media sensationalizes this stuff way too much and the average person isn't educated enough about weather to know what's really going on when the news makes a big deal about it. It's quite comical, really - like watching people freak out over a tornado watch when they don't know the difference between a watch and a warning.

Can the polar vortex be here to stay? It was nice being out on the deck tonight without any mosquitos to bother me.

This is amazing. I need to find a place where it is 70-75 during the day and 50 at night all year long. Where is that?

West coast? Seems like the Oregon coast was something like that when I was researching for a vacation.
