    My neighborhood has a large number of Asian families, mostly Chinese American, and I'd be just fine with being the only non-Asian family in the neighborhood. Quiet, friendly, and quiet - just how I like it.

    This x 100000000000000. In my neighborhood I have 3 Asian families close by and all 3 are the exact same from my view point. Clean house, clean garage, quiet and well behaved kids, etc.

    The town I grew up in is pretty small. We just used their names because we knew them all.

    We shared a backyard area in the house I rented last year in Ames. The three houses had their own areas, but we were often all out there at the same time, so it was kind of a common area type thing. Anyway, we didn't really like the people in one of the other houses so we called them the dooshbros. Pretty self explanatory.

    Same here. I won't outwardly ignore any of them if they happen to come up and talk to me, but I don't go out of my way to socialize with any of them.

    That is exactly how my moms family gives directions in rural Tampa county (Garwin area).
