Does it have more caffeine than regular or diet?

That explains it!! This actually made me laugh. I remember being in Florida on vacation and we were out to eat. The waiter asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I replied " A coke would be great." He replied "No problem bro, what kind." This caught me off guard so I came back with "vanilla if you have it, regular if that's all you got." The look he gave me was like someone just coldcocked him in the ear. All this time I thought the young man had a drug problem, nope it was me not speaking the native language. Huh, who knew?!

Mostly I go with Scotch and Scotch but only after an especially rough week.

I guess it's not Jack and pop either.

It's time to convert to soda and drop the pop!

I'm in the same boat as you (other than calling it the wrong name). Only drink pop with my cheap Canadian whiskey now, & even then I try to use diet or the 10 calorie variety.

Yeah, but that's because they're talking about club soda, not a cola or sugar sweetened carbonated beverage.

I know.....it was a reach. I feel so dirty. Maybe a Scotch will make me feel better

Either way, if you dirty a scotch by mixing it with anything other than a cube or two of ice, you're not worthy of the noble drink as it is.

I quit pop after having kidney stones. That lasted about a month.. Pibb is just too damn good.

There's just something about a whiskey/coke that my taste buds won't let me give up

    Re: Salt and Soda

After 2 lithotripsy procedures and a brief stay in the hospital (kidney stones), I have pretty much given up my Diet Dew addiction. Now I force down about 80 ounces of water each day. All I do at work is drink and pee.
