    Simply the Best

If you have some free time this week one of the best AAU tournaments is going on in Ames. Simply the Best, is sponsored by the All Iowa Attack and featured some of the top teams in the Midwest. A daily ticket costs $19 and if your posterior can hold out all day it is well worth it. The games are at the new facility next to the Iowa State practice site on South Dakota Ave. The Auditorium is something that basketball fans must see. I spent most of Sunday there and watched some amazing talent. July is viewing season for colleges coaches and they were there in mass. Don't miss the action.

Coaches from North Dakota, Creighton, and even Lisa Bluder from that other college in Iowa were at the tournament yesterday. This was a very well run event with lots of the top talent in the Midwest for the 2016 and 2017 classes.

It's a busy time for coaches. JS is in Cincinnati at the Junior Nationals and then on to Chicago for the Nike tournament. Is CBF in Ames?

And, Billy was in Oregon. Chicago is a Nike event and a great place to see some talented players that the staff probably doesn't get to see a lot of regularly.
