So this is a picture of some crazy weeds that have invaded the rear corner of my lot. They are on the opposite side of my privacy fence. When I first bought the house I didn't even realize I owned that spot.
For the first year I didn't even touch these, cause I didn't think it was my problem. Of course this allowed the weed to get really bad. Every year I chop it down and it keeps coming back. You can see in the picture there are four clumps of stumps that I assume are all part of one plant. I've dumped various chemicals on it that seem to kill it for that year, but the next spring it's back. Also my underground electrical box is right next to this, so digging it out doesn't seem feasible.
Anybody got a good idea on how to kill this thing?
Farm supply stores have smaller bottles of brush killer. I have a small bottle with a brush - apply to fresh cuts. It's worked very well for me and doesn't leave a scorched-earth look to the area because I apply to only what I want dead.
"It's a jungle out there kiddies. Have a very fruitful day.
