    Niang and travelling calls?

In the Big XII tourney Niang was called for several travelling calls, especially on his spin move. I don't remember him being called for those much during the year. I have heard no mention of that in any interviews during the off season. Does that require work or a function of how a couple of games were called? Love watching him abuse oposing bigs with that move.

IIRC he was called for it during the NCAA tournament a few times too. Maybe it was just different officials? I really have no idea but I remember the calls vaguely and remember the calls being correct.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

It was really just in that Kansas game that he was called for it a lot, and I think much of that is due to him touching the ball a lot in that game (he took 22 shots, second-most of his career aside from the 3OT win at Oklahoma State).

As an even more primary option this year, the average shot attempts should go up, or at least his touches will thus raising the combination score of his shot attempts and assists.

He requires officials that are familiar with us, or at least have watched us play. People that have never seen him cannot believe what they are seeing with his footwork, so they see what they believe instead.

He travels a lot just like most players. For whatever reason it got called more in the post season.

I've rewatched a few games, and now that I'm not as emotionally involved, I seem to notice a lot more Niang travels than before.

I think he does travel at times, but I also think he gets called for up fakes and spin moves that are not traveling.

He seems to travel after contact. Watching the Big 12 Tournament Championship game, he would travel making space against Isaiah Austin.

He kind of sticks his butt into the guy to knock him off balance a bit, and when he spins off off it he tends to travel then, but it's really minor.

He's a traveling machine. In my expert opinion it's 50/50.

Every spin move is a travel. It is just a matter of how much officials want to call it.

is that a rule? Can't you pivot on your left foot, push off with your right, then shoot? That's just two steps, like between dribbles, so why is that an automatic travel call?
