    Re: WWE Battleground

My favorite match when I was younger is when Hulk body slammed Andre the Giant. Also we went one time to an Event and George the Animal Steel pulled my brother and 3 other kids into the ring and made them eat the turnbuckle. They did not ask my dad pre event. the Animal just came up and grabbed him and pulled him over the ring. Also, Rick Flair called my dad Fat boy at one event. My dad just started laughing and we all laughed.

I loved the 2 belt system, but it was too bad that wwe ruined the WHC with Alberto Del Rio. When John Cena, CM Punk, and Edge couldn't get interesting feuds from him warning lights should have gone up. Instead they kept trying to get him over with great mic workers like Zeb Coulter and fan favorites like RVD, Christian, and Ziggler, but nothing worked. I thought they were going to give it a second chance with Cena( that was one of the rare times I was on Cena's side 100% of the time) I thought they were giving the world title a chance, but then they ruined that fast be unifying the titles the next month.

    1. King Kong Bundy should come back just for fun.

    2. Cesaro is boring as ****. Think of all the greats, and he has none of their characteristics. He needs a signature. For example, I know it sounds crazy, but I'm not sure Daniel Bryant ever becomes known without his "Yes!", "No!", and the beard. You can't just be a good wrestler and make it here.

    3. Someone explain the Stephanie/construction zone thing. I'm no Ralph Lauren so I'm not sure what I'm looking at

Another example - Randy Orton. Alright wrestler, bad with the mic. So what's his signature to make him a great? The legend killer. But he runs out of legends to kill, and now he's fallen apart. The WWE could probably start dropping him a bit.

I wonder how Orton would do as a Heyman guy....good persona, good wrestler, average on mic, but Heyman could help that.

Alberto Del Rio was somewhat decent back when he'd bring cars in and have a personal ring announcer. At least made him standout. Now he's worthless.

True. At least he had a character the other then random Mexican guy like he does now. Still think he should have done something more when he was a rich Mexican guy, like pay off refs or something interesting like that.

They rarely say legend killer these days do they. It's more of the Viper nickname that he's called these days.

One the top of my head an attitude match that sicks out is the Mankind Taker Hell in Cell match. Still trying to figure out how he survived that match with his life.

I was reading about Rock and his training for "Hercules".
This article mentioned that there was a setback due to an injury from a high-profile Wrestlemania bout.
That sure makes it seem like maybe they did indeed do a rewrite on the fly in that match.

and it looked like you could build a bridge in the gap.

That construction project did not age well.

I'm waiting for some paychecks to come in and I think I'll buy the network for Six months just in time for SS. Looks like it's building up to be a good PPV.
