If only we could have a reunion of the original Paul Heyman guys: Lesnar and Punk.

If you think that was the greatest promo ever. Go watch the old Rock stuff. Especially when him and Jericho were going at it when he came to wwe.

This is better, because it's original. The Rock is electrifying, but it's the same series of lines all the time.
This one had layers of characterization, fired that crowd up, and came from a bunch of original angles. The Rock is fun, but he's not original.

Now this is something I could recite every day

I pledge Allegiance to the Greatness
of the Conqueror who stands before me
and to his dominance for which I stand
one c nation under John now divisible
with no more hustle, loyalty or respect for all

Amen. Rock is one of best wrestlers on the mic but he's not in Heyman's league.

Play that at the Performance Center and teach people how to cut loose.

I'm sure Cena will tell some jokes next week, though. Lesnar's no serious threat.

Yes, I feel dumber typing that last line.
Don't forget the part when he says something like " I've conquered many before, and you are no different" or something generic like that while giving his mad face that looks like he's trying to pass a large kidney stone

Is week 3 when Cena pins them cleanly in a tag match, or is that number 4?

I didn't watch the end, did Paul (HHH) bother to get Steph out of jail?

Somebody in wardrobe needs to be F..I…R..E…..D!

Steph's dress was not good for the going to jail segment, made her "construction" zone look awful.

I knew I couldn't be the only one that noticed that. It was like a vast desolate valley.

    Re: WWE Battleground

Rocks stuff at the end was getting to repeating but I was old enough to watch it live and it was must see tv. You would tune in to watch the Rock do his thing. I don't tune in to watch Haymen. He is really good and plays a good bad guy. In fact many say his character is not much different from the real him. Much like Vince. However, when the Rock was in the ring for the first Y2J entrance. I thought he might have ruined Jericho on the first day. It was unreal. "I have been wrestling stone cold and you have been wrestling guys named Juventude". I about fell out of my chair when he said that.

Her chest looked fine earlier, but when they locked her up, they obviously didn't rehearse in her dress....a smart producer would have put the whole shut from the back and had Stephanie turn back to yell and keep her chest out of view.

I was also around for the Bray Wyatt "speech".

Granted, I never bought into the hillbillies very much but geez has anything been as played out as fast as this stuff?

The guy can wrestle and he can talk so maybe a change of direction?

The crowd loves him. They're so into the entrance, singing, etc. He's an amazing talker and a great wrestler with a fun and creative move set. I think a man of his talents needs to be in a storyline that is focus #1 or #2. Unfortunately, they won't be pushing any heel unless they're involved with the authority, and any face being pushed right now other than Reigns is a waste because we all already know this is all going to lead to a Wrestlemania win for Reigns.

So where in the world will they take Wyatt? Turn him face after this Jericho feud and go into a non-title program with a boring heel? Keep him heel and put him into a non-title program with a boring face? I don't know. But I've been upset with his direction since the Cena burial.

And don't even get me started on the Wyatt Family tag team. Why they've continually lost to the Cena's of the tag division is beyond me.
