I hope this U18 tournament he is playing in will provide us some new videos of his game. Would be nice to see how he can do against other U18 players.

He really has a baby face. My guess is by next year's season he will gain another 25+ pounds and mature a bit.

Is there more or less hype for him than there was for Embiid at this stage last year?

Embiid chose between Florida and Kansas. He was rated top 30 by every recruiting service, and as high as #6, by ESPN. At around this time last year, Rick Pitino said, "I think Kansas could have the number one and number two picks in the draft with Wiggins and Embiid. [Embiid] does everything."

To put it in perspective he probably has less hype than Woodbury did, so.... no.

Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter.

Well, Woodbury was touted to be an All-American his freshman year and number one draft pick, so it's hard for anyone to live up to the expectations he had.

Well I guess I could just have asked how highly rated a recruit Embiid was but then you wouldn't have had all this free entertainment.

Did you watch the Iowa vs. Tennessee "tournament game" last year? Woodbury had 16 and 8 on 8-11 shooting against a pretty good front court from UT. You can't honestly say he hasn't improved since he arrived at Iowa. Let's be honest, he was pretty much agreed by everyone outside of a handful of idiot Iowa fans to be a project coming in (like 99% of 7-footers). He just finished up his sophomore season and is far from plateaued as far as potential goes. It will be a tough pill to swallow for some around here when Woodbury is pretty good over the last year and a half of his career.

I don't care how good he ends up being, I just enjoy all the T-Rex jokes.
