When is this and do you think my wife will be made when I cancel all my plans and make an impromptu trip to Colorado?

Man, I can't even remember their name, because the White Stripes' career just dwarfed them.
    Now that's Rock n' Roll.

It's funny Ryan Adams was brought up because I consider him the best singer/songwriter of his generation and I don't think it is particularly close. Went to see him at the Chicago Theater and he made a point to bash Minneapolis when the sound at The Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul was bad for his previous show. Being from Minneapolis I was like, there is no nee to bash the entire city. Anyway, he's sober now, or soberer and seems like his behavior has improved.

I saw him when he was at Stephens a few years ago, maybe five? It was a really good show, but he didn't have any rants like that. It might have been fun if he had.

CY Stephens is one of my favorite venues to see a show in. incredible sound and facility.

Are you familiar with Todd Snider or Mike Cooley? I would rank both ahead of Adams as songwriters.

Adams has written some incredible songs though.

I always love Jack's riffs, but Lazaretto felt a bit rushed. I guess that's kind of what you get with him, though.

    Re: Jack White

Anyone see him on Conan a week or so ago? He's pretty cool and funny.

In the first interview segment, Conan shared his excitement upon hearing “Seven Nation Army” alongside Jack at a Dodger game (“It’s so cool to sit next to the guy who wrote it”), as well as a reviewer comment that White “play[s] rock and roll from the crotch.” White talks about Jesus, The Beatles, and Albert Einstein.
