I bike every weekend and a lot during the week. I bike during the day. I like taking my son in his burley. He is 3 years old. We will stop at El Bait Shop sometimes to meet someone for lunch, or Mullets. Sometimes we will stop in Confluence. I don't know how the atmosphere at 11 am- 4pm is such a bad thing for a kid. I spend money either buying a drink or food, my kid has water, milk, or whatever. He doesn't run around with his head on fire.

How is that bothering the 21-26 year old drinking population?? I don't see people at these places that early partying it up.

Unless it's a small town bar that serves food, I never take my son into a bar after 5 pm.

Too many of you people have your underwear and head planted firmly up your ***. I don't see how this is an issue. Most parents will have their kid out of the bar before the drinking party crowd is there. I haven't seen any negative side effects from my 14 year old nephew who has been in probably more bars then most with us while on bike rides.

    Good post.

I'm for kids in bars as well and you pointed out that 11-4 bar time is not that big of deal having a kid around. Totally agree.

*I don't have any kids yet, but my wife and I are expecting our first any day and I am guessing that I would like the "little tike" to be at the bar/restaurant with me sometimes in situations like these. Also, hopefully I can teach my young one how to behave in a social setting/bar during these time slots as well. Who knows, maybe even take in a Cyclone Gamewatch from time to time. Probably not the huge KC gamewatches that we get down here, but for some of the smaller ones for sure.

That's because anti-vaccinators are stupid, dangerous people.

So 5pm is your cut-off, should that be everyone's cut-off? How about 6 pm on a Saturday? Why not 9pm on a Monday? Does the bar matter? What if the place serves no food? Should there be an age limit? When 515 allowed children I saw kids less than a year old in there, is that ok? What if someone starts throwing out an F bomb in front of your 3 year old? What if the music is too loud?

Get a ******* babysister and quit annoying people who want to drink without having children running around. Of course everyone that brings their kids to bars think their kids are well behaved. Not to mention the people who have no problem jamming their kid in an SUV after they've had a few beers. Of course none of these people ever drink while they are in the bar/

In case anyone has any questions as to why the closure, see the last few pages of personal attacks. This topic isn't changing any time soon, it's run its course.
