Porter was a rookie this past season. Give him at least one more season before you call him a bust.

He finished 435th in PER last year, I'm feeling fairly confident about calling him a bust. Although last year's entire draft class was pretty terrible.

    I'm sure you're right since you're a professional scout...

(can't see that happening but with Silver in there now, who knows)
They have been fining flopping in the NBA for a season or two now. It's more than just talk.

I'm not giving them too much credit for drafting Wall first. EVERYONE was drafting Wall first. Man, that was a bad draft going back and looking at it again.

Yeah, he might become a Nick Collison in time.

Funny that you're making fun of a team that made the conference semi's this past season...

    Re: NBA Draft Rankings

Twitter reporting that Joel Embiid has suffered a foot injury and will not do any more workouts before the Draft.

If I'm a GM, and it's probably a good thing I'm not, I wouldn't touch Embiid with any of the first 5 picks. A 7 footer with back and foot problems? First, I'm not so sure a dominant center means what it used to mean. It's been since, what, the Shaq/Lakers prime since a center lead a team to a championship? Look at the primary contenders in the NBA right now-- Spurs, Heat, Pacers, Thunder, Clippers, Warriors, Trailblazers. None of those teams rely on the play of their big men, except for the Pacers (to their detriment) and the Trailblazers, although Aldridge is hardly a typical center/power forward.

Give me a guy like Wiggins or Parker any day over Embiid.

Personally, I like Parker. He is built like an NBA player.

Yeah, Tim Duncan wasn't much of a contributor to the Spurs this year...
