Are you actually trolling because players who went the the sweet 16 and won the big 12 tournament weren't drafted while a player who never reached the round of 64 was drafted 3rd from last and still has to make a team? Come on man. Is that gonna be your thing now?

I know it's been a decade since Iowa has had any basketball success but even the guys who change basketball threads to Iowa football threads have better game than that.

Give him a break, having your second second-rounder in 7 years is cause to rejoice.

With Wade and Bosh also opting out, Miami's team consists of Norris Cole and Justin Hamilton's non-guaranteed contract leaving them approximately $55 million in cap space.

Jason Kidd must have balls of steel. First he ******** s his way into a head coaching job despite his total lack of experience, then he demands that Lawrence Frank be his lead assistant before demoting him six weeks into the season, and then he goes behind Billy King's back to make a failed power grab. The BKN ownership ought to take the draft pick, bring in Lionel Hollins, and be done with it.

I think the most amazing fact coming out of this Kidd to the Bucks story is that the Nets lost $144M last year, the Wizards lost the next most at $13M. Losing $144M is insane.

Melo meeting with bulls today then dallas/houston tomorrow. sounds like lakers on thursday.

He will end up right back in NY though. I hope he doesn't - would love to see him in Houston, but, no way he leaves the NY money on the table.

This has been his career. He is gutty and not well liked by his teammates. Now he has taken his coaching roadshow to Milwaukee. He wants to be total director of bball operations and get even millions more. He is the type of coach players may want to avoid. We can sit back and watch what happens. Nothing like hiring Genghis Khan.

I don't think he goes back. This isn't LeBron in Miami where you can put some faith in the organization to restructure the team around you to stay competitive. The Knicks are a complete mess and I haven't seen anything from Jackson yet that convinces me he's some magical solution to their front office problems. New York can't give him enough more money to make up for the fact that he'd be wasting the rest of his prime in an awful situation.

If I'm the Knicks, I wouldn't be that heartbroken if Melo left either. Are you really going to win a title if he's your best guy? New York is not Milwaukee or Cleveland, they will be able to get big free agents to come there. I think their best bet is to wait out Amare and Bargnani's contracts and go for the full rebuild, let Melo walk, offer to take Lin back if you can get Houston to throw in a couple first rounders, but I doubt that's what Jackson came to do and that's not their ownership wants.
