IMO, you can't go wrong with either. I wouldn't count out the HTC One M8.

    Hello no2cyclones,

Verizon's service and speed is the best, bar none. But you will pay for it with an increase in monthly fees. Whether or not it's worth it over US Cellular, I am not sure. My Verizon plan is up in September and I am considering a switch back to US Cellular just to get on my parent's family plan and save some $$$. The iPhone is great, but I have never owned a Galaxy so I am not sure if it is better. The screen size is way too big for me, but that's a personal preference, and I'm probably punishing Android too much based on a 4 year old Evo that sucked. Hopefully that helps!

    Regards,

    Merry Christmas!
I wrapped it up and sent it
With a note saying "I Love You" I meant it
Now I know what a fool I've been
But if you kissed me now I know you'd fool me again

Really? I've loved my GS3. My only complaint is that they didn't have a play edition of that one to get stock Droid.

Personally, I'm holding out to see if Verizon is going to get the Sony Xperia z2. Otherwise the LG G3 looks promising.

I had a droid 2 for a couple years. Loved it, thought android was the best. Got an Iphone 5 and now you couldn't pay me to not have an iphone.

I looked into switching to US Cellular recently and it didn't seem to be any cheaper than Verizon. Maybe it depends on the plan. But, if you live or go to Southwest Iowa a lot you should definitely consider US Cellular. My inlaws have a cabin in SW Iowa and I get no connection at all there with Verizon. I kinda like it though:)

I used to only have 1X service at my parent's house in SW IA. But within the last year or so I've had good 4G signal, which is nice.

I have an HTC One with Verizon. Great phone.

    Re: New phone recommendation

I wonder how the Tmobile/Sprint merger will effect coverage. I've had very little problem with T-Mobile after switching from Verizon. $50.43/month for unlimted text/talk 1gb data, and free international data with the ability to switch carriers (no contract) was a great move. After 1gb of data they won't charge me just throttle it back.

My wife on the other hand has a tiny Iphone 4s with Verizon that we pay nearly $70/month and has a worse plan. Also tied into a 2 year contract.

I wish Verizon would buy US Cellular

Couldn't pay you to NOT have an iPhone? So . . . we could pay you to have an iPhone?

End of thread, solid endorsement here.

    Re: New phone recommendation

To the OP. I had the HTC Incredible (not entirely different than the Evo) and switched to a Galaxy S4 last spring. I think I like the HTC Sense better than the Samsung Touchwiz, but the Samsung is a solid phone.

I would give serious though to the M8, though. Haven't used one, but heard great things about it

    Re: New phone recommendation

The LG G3 looks like the best phone out there when it drops to the US carriers (should happen this month sometime id guess).

Here's your first problem. I can't stand sprint, especially once they bought out US Cellular, because it shows how well they run a business. Terrible customer service. I recommend switching carriers and going to the HTC One or the Iphone 5.

I will never own another Motorola. I can't remember which one I had as my last phone, thing was junk. The screen shook in cold weather, and it randomly turned off all the time.
