Labelled, "Bastard's Crown" and the instructions "Place on Tommen's head." If Ramsay can send $%^&'s around Stannis can send a crap.

A little off topic but how awesome were the previews last night for the new HBO show The Leftovers? Instantly set the DVR to record the series after they showed that really long preview.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

Re: Game of Thrones Season 4 - Thread Attempt #2

So, fun fact now that the seasons over, the everyone who's been watching and hasn't read the books had the deaths of Shea & Tywin spoiled 2 episodes ago. When Littlefinger was talking to Robyn, he said that 'some people die at the dinner table (Joffrey), some people die in bed (Shea), and some die squatting over the privy (Tywin)'. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I think the Briene / Hound fight might be one of the more brutal fights that's been on Game of Thrones. Lots of hard hitting.

Let's just focus on Tryions "escape". Why would Shae not just scream when she saw Tryion? The Hand's Tower has guards posted outside the door, or at the very least somewhere in the building. Instead she tries to grab a knife and stab him. At no point does she try to scream for help. Ok... I'll accept that (I guess)

Next, Tryion looks above the mantleplace and sees a crossbow. HOW DOES HE GET IT?! Its above a goddamn fireplace. Does he go grab a ladder and climb up there to get it down? Does he use his magical imp powers and force pull it? like... come-on.

That's just one scene. There are so many little oversights they make in order to get to the money-shot scenes... I'd rather they slow down and give these scenes the details they deserve.

Yeah - and don't forget the dragons! I mean COME ON! Their wing span ratio to lift is WAY undersized. Spoils the whole thing for me

Could a dragon grab the husk of a coconut and migrate with it? Maybe a coconut line tied between 2 dragons.

Re: Game of Thrones Season 4 - Thread Attempt #2

Can we discuss the cut of the grass in the scene where Sandor Clegane was left to die? I was definitely distracted by its quarter angle cut as opposed to the more GOT world accurate flat cut. Totally ruined the episode for me.

I agree there are way to few bathroom scenes in this show... are we to believe that over multiple years there are only like 5 craps taken?

IN A SERIOUS NOTE: I was glad that Stannis story arc went where it did. I was definitely getting tired of the "hey we are on a rock" story. I also was rooting for Brienne to be pushed over a cliff... anyone else extremely annoyed by that arc?

Better question about dragons... if a dragon (fireproof) were to fly toward the sun which would happen first... Vitamin D overdose or burned up by the sun?

So, who becomes the Hand? Jamie? No sure we have a character that is introduced that fits other than him.

(bracing myself for the incoming "hand" jokes and puns.)

With Tywin out of the picture, next season is certainly leading up to a major cat fight between Marjory and Cersei.
