That's true - and, now that you mention it, also a little odd. You'd figure those would be learned skills; they were for the birds after they hatched.

Of course the way this story has gone we didn't actually see the hound die, so he will probably pop up at the worse possible time for Arya and kill her. I don't really think that will happen, but I wouldn't be all that surprised.
That scene didn't make much sense to me either. It seemed out of character for her considering what they had been through. Unless he is going to show up in the story again which the more I think about it, seems more likely. You have both brothers seemingly dead but now it looks likely the mountain will live, maybe the hound will too.

Loved it, so many cool things happened. I'm actually really interested in the supernatural stuff going on with Bran Stark's "story." Also, was it implied that the end that Vaery's stayed on that ship and left kings landing?

Hound got what he deserved, it was completely unnecessary for him to pick a fight with Brianne.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

The devil is in the details
In his defense, there was only a very small group of wildlings that made the climb (with him) successfully. He would not have been aware that the Thenns reinforced this group south of the wall and made it a more formidable attack.

I wonder what his "change" is. He said "Oh No" to losing strength, but what will he be if the mountain lives? A monster perhaps?

The wire. House of Cards. Sopranos.

All shows that paid extreme attention to detail. And they are easily top 20 shows all time because of it.

Details make the difference between an OK show and a great show. GoT could've been great, but they would rather go for the big headline moneyshot.

Re: Game of Thrones Season 4 - Thread Attempt #2

In the scene between The Hound and Arya he admits, in a very Hound way, how he loved Sansa. She was the only person he liked in all of Westeros. Her innocence represented to him what his brother had taken away from him. Arya was conflicted, because he saved her life and kept her safe. He never meant her any harm. IMO she couldn't get herself to kill a "friend." A random person or enemy she would have killed in an instant.

The Hound may have a part to play who knows. He could be happened upon by someone he is on the road to the Eyrie. I don't know who is in worse shape him or Gregor. The Red Viper put the spear directly through The Mountain's gut, and that wound was conveniently not present. his shoulder looked all sorts or wrong though.

So you want them to waste 30 seconds having Tyrion grab a chair, drag it to the fireplace, get up and grab the crossbow? Are you kidding me? Get out of here with that crap.

Never said that. Why does it need to be on the mantle in the first place? Even with a chair he wouldnt have been able to reach it. That sucker was high up there. All 7 people at my viewing were like "wtf"

He is protective of Arya. He didnt trust anyone from Kings Landing. In the end, he won. He kept Arya from going with who he thought was the enemy.

I think you are thinking too much into this. The blade was poisoned. That was the point that should be focused on. The wounds themselves are insignificant.

What does it matter? It was where it was, and there was a plausible way for Tyrion to get to it. I don't get what your beef is.

Fine, forget the crossbow. How about the fact that John Snow completely forgets about the wildlings behind the wall, and that Gilly just walks by them willy-nilly without anyone noticing? Then doesn't bother to mention the fact that 200 dudes are sitting right over the hill to anyone?

Man, I wish you would invite me to this viewing party. It sounds like a jolly good time.

Listen, if you want every little ******* detail to be perfect, just read the books again. They have to get these shows pumped out and don't have time to explain how the imp does everything. GOod grief.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

Each season would need about 87 episodes to cover every little detail. Then people would still ***** about too much detail.
