Anyone try Lion Bridge brewing in Cedar Rapids, or Franklin Street in Manchester yet?

Hoping to hit those on a trip back to Dubuque this weekend.

And Potosi while there (thanks Kilgore_Trout)

And hopefully hit Single Speed in Cedar Falls on the way back.

They keeping them up north or are they distributing some of the new bottles down to Ames/DSM? Really want to try David.

What do you mean "getting in"?

I would guess he means that empties are arriving tonight, and since his wife works there I assume he helps bottle. Tough job.

Nope. I mean they are arriving at the tap room, for sale to the public. My wife is a bartender, and doesn't work the brewing or bottling lines.

Do they put some kind of limit on the bottles?

    Nice.

Do you know if they are planning on distributing David, or is that going to stay up North? Really excited to try that one.

Was able to get some of the last Twisted Galaxy at the taproom in early May, was really surprised with how much I enjoyed it (Galaxy hops are not one of my favorites). Speaks to how well they make beer up there.

No clue on David distribution, but I just polished one off and it's fantastic.

If you are ever in Hampton swing by Rustic Brew. Really good little brewery/coffee house. Of course I have not had the coffee.

Just opened my Pseudo Sue that I stumbled upon in Iowa City last week.

    It's so good.

Don't know if it was talked about earlier, but I tried the Imperial Red from Firetrucker in Ankeny last weekend at C and S home brew and it was phenomenal. Even my wussy lil bro, a hawk fan no less liked it.
I just brewed my American Pale Ale today. First brew in 5 months. Made a wort chiller and couldn't believe the time and hassle it saved over other methods.
