If I said racist things then I think I would deserve whatever happened if that came out. It's not any less racist if he said it in his own house.

He's a ******* public figure. One of the things about being a public figure is sacrificing your privacy.

There is no thing as privacy when you are that popular.

Ya probably not, but I don't think there are any people who post on here who are owners of a Pro team and or that public of a figure. That comes with the territory, don't be dumb.

    Guy is a ******.

But if he's punished for something he said in private, while being take without his knowledge, that's a little effed.

It is pretty sad that this is his mentality though.

    Like Nixon?

“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.”

Idk if he would qualify as a public figure. Yes he's high profile, but I always thought public figures were mainly politicians. He should be able to have some privacy.

    1. That doesn't mean I condone what he said and shouldn't have it said it anywhere.

There's probably an interesting debate in there about the Oval Office and privacy.

According to the legal dictionary, he would be considered a public figure.
public figure n. in the law of defamation (libel and slander), a personage of great public interest or familiarity like a government official, politician, celebrity, business leader, movie star, or sports hero. Incorrect harmful statements published about a public figure cannot be the basis of a lawsuit for defamation unless there is proof that the writer or publisher intentionally defamed the person with malice (hate). Re: Donald Sterling (Owner of the Clippers) is incredibly racist

I'm surprised nobody is talked about the fact this a 80-something year old creepy rich white dude (married, to boot) hanging out with a black/Hispanic woman who is somewhere between 20 and 25.

Legal? Yes. Creepy as all hell? Dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn.

Never-mind the guy just being a plain-old racist crank. The Packers have it right--pro sports is best when they are publicly-owned and run by a board of directors, not rich billionaires and their latest vanity project and all the awfulness of their personalities and business raga shoved down everybody's throat.

Why does he own an NBA team if he is that racist?
